On May 21st at the Four Seasons Hotel Chicago, Foodservice Equipment & Supplies magazine will present Fred Clark, the founder and chairman of Clark Associates, with the 2022 Hall of Fame Award.
This honor will be given at the FE&S’ Dealer of the Year & All-Industry Awards Gala, where foodservice professionals from across the country will gather to celebrate the industry’s ongoing success and those who help contribute to its growth.
Throughout his career, Clark embraced hard work, integrity, and discipline. These core principles combined with smart entrepreneurial risks and shrewd hiring tactics allowed a second-generation family business to evolve into a renowned foodservice giant.
Per the FE&S’ “2022 Distribution Giants” list, Clark Associates ranked as the nation’s largest dealer of foodservice equipment and supplies for the second year in a row. Through its main distribution channels, including but not limited to the WebstaurantStore, The Restaurant Store, Clark Food Service Equipment, and Clark Pro, the company earned well over $2.5 billion in sales in 2021.
Such an achievement was made possible thanks to the forward-thinking approach of Clark’s leadership. By investing in new technology, infrastructure, and most importantly, its people, Clark Associates was able to set the standard high and push forward as a steadfast market example in an ever-changing industry.
