Lancaster, PA – This past Saturday, the Clark Associates Charitable Foundation held its Ninth Annual Derby Day Party and, with the help of several key vendor partners and local contributors, will be able to distribute over $1.2 million this month to 19 local nonprofit organizations.
The Clark Foundation’s mission is to give back and support the community through financial donations to nonprofit organizations that provide for the health and welfare of people in need, support youth education programs, and support music and the arts.
This year, the primary recipients of the Clark Foundation’s donations were the Schreiber Center for Pediatric Development, receiving $175,000; the Manheim Township, Pequea Valley, Warwick and Conestoga Valley Education Foundations, each receiving $100,000; the Lancaster County Conservancy, receiving $100,000; and the Anchorage Breakfast Program, receiving $50,000. Major project recipient The Mix at Arbor Place received $100,000.
Additional donation recipients are as follows: AGAPE ($100,000); Boys & Girls Club of Lancaster ($55,000); CASA Court Appointed Special Advocates ($50,000); Good Samaritan Services ($30,000); Power Packs Lancaster ($25,000); Conestoga Valley Christian Community Services ($25,000); Food Hub ($25,000); Advantage Lancaster ($25,000); Meals on Wheels ($25,000); Mennonite Disaster Services ($25,000); and Aaron’s Acres ($25,000).
