Clark Associates sponsored the August 27 concert at Lancaster County's Long's Park Amphitheater, capping off a successful Summer Music Series. The concert featured Dale Watson, an Austin-based honkey-tonk-style country musician inspired by Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, and Willie Nelson.
2017 was the Summer Music Series' 55th season. The free concerts are held outdoors at the Long's Park Amphitheater on Sunday evenings in June, July, and August, and are attended by thousands of area residents. The concerts are made possible through the generosity of individuals and corporate sponsors like Clark Associates, as well as hundreds of volunteers.
Clark Associates had a tent set up near the stage with drinks and snacks, where attendees could also learn more about the company. Community involvement and charitable giving are important priorities for all Clark Associates divisions, and community-uniting arts and culture events like the Summer Music Series is just one example of how the company supports local communities. Companywide, the Clark Charitable Foundation supported over 160 different organizations with over $1.2 million in donations in 2016.
