(Lancaster, PA) - For a second consecutive year, Clark Associates led the foodservice equipment and supply industry for sales dollar growth with a year-over-year increase of $218 million, according to Foodservice Equipment & Supplies magazines April 2020 rankings.
The magazine’s annual “Distribution Giants” list of the top 100 foodservice equipment and supply dealers places Clark second, in line with its ranking from 2019.
Sales among the top 100 dealers increased 7.9 percent from 2018’s totals to $11.06 billion, according to the 2020 Distribution Giants study. 70 percent of those dealers reported positive growth, while 26 percent reported a decline in sales. Four percent of dealers reported no change.
One of the driving factors behind Clark’s fast organic growth is an omni channel approach, which allows the company to serve a diverse collection of customers through a variety of targeted divisions, including ecommerce, cash-and-carry, multi-unit, and commercial design and installation.
